Dr. Ravi Seshadri was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and raised primarily in India. After completing his BVSC degree and a rotational internship at the Madras Veterinary College, he completed equivalency requirements and was licensed in the US in 1989. He started working in small animal emergency medicine and has worked in specialty referral facilities since 1991. He completed requirements for ABVP certification in Canine/Feline Medicine in 1996, and an alternate-pathway residency program in Emergency & Critical Care, becoming certified n 1999.
Dr. Seshadri has served on the American College of Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Credentials Committee and is a current chair of the Exam Committee and a member of the Joint Committee. Dr. Seshadri’s major professional interests include emergency surgery, continuous renal replacement, and critical patient care.
Dr. Seshadri’s hobbies include motor sports and horseback riding. He is married with three children.
